Looking for a birth record for andrew dinnen who married isabella mclaughlin in liverpool 8th september 1805 they had a son john born 1807 liverpool another son james born 1809 and a daughter ann born 1810 liverpool i beleive andrew was a brass founder at the docks but then relocated to portsea hampshire as a brass founder until he died in 1853 he had further children in portsea william arthur horatio george elizabeth and caroline

I suspect that people did look in Liverpool when researching on your other thread, I certainly did but it is always worth asking again  :)

I wonder if any of the museums / archives hold information on brass founders working there

yes thank you rosie im sure his birth record is out there somewhere he seems a stickler for registering births baptisms ect for all his children i have found lots of records of him with typo errors so hoping perhaps something might pop up i really wished id picked the brains of older relations when they were alive

Garstonite, That lengthy thread (link given earlier) already has the marriage of Andrew and those baptisms of three of his children.  His and his childrens lives are well covered on there but we did not find anything on him prior to his marriage in 1805.  :)
