Open Day at Powys Archives


This year the theme is World War Two. A selection of documents from this period will be on display, followed by a tour of the premises. You will also get a chance to visit the BBC Wales Bus, and to submit your WW2 memories and stories online to the BBC People's War Project

Also on the same day and a couple of hundred yards down the street from Powys Archives, Powys Family History Society will be holding their AGM.

 Guest speaker will be Mr Stuart A Raymond of Exeter, the well known author and publisher of a large number of family history books. Stuart will be talking about,
The Internet, Books And Archives For Family Historians.

Venue: Coleg Powys, Llandrindod Wells.
Date: Saturday 24th September , 10.30 for 11.00 a.m.
