Hi

The family did have links to Lancashire!  William's daughter, Jane, married James Middlehurst, who came from that area!
Their son, Emmanuel Thomas, was born in St Helens, Lancashire before the family returned to Sunderland!

Daughter, Jane Middlehurst (Nee Unsworth), was living in 3 Palmer Street in 1871 - the the circle has definitely been closed!
