Ancestry have the 1937 marriage -

St Thomas, Birmingham - 11 December 1937

John Baker - 21, bachelor, Labourer.  Father - John, Labourer
Marion Brooke - 18, spinster.  Father -  Joseph, deceased.

Witnesses - John Brooke and Albert Edward ?Brooke?

1939 - there is Marian Baker with the 1919 birth date, with husband, Jack, plus a daughter with mmn of Brooke, and one redacted entry.  All in Birmingham.

I did sort of give that info on reply number 3, but didn't think we were allowed to give away too much info from the 1939 register.

One has to remember ! these dates are just before world war 2, all sorts of things could have happened, like records lost, people being killed in a bombing blitz that were not recorded, service people killed in action or missing not being recorded and there is the 100 years on some documents. Being late or modern times history post 1939 reg, maybe known or findable living relatives may have records in their own family records.

                           Just a thought
