Do you have the right Margaret Walker?

Opening post says she married William Newman in 1870 aged 22 - birthyear approx 1848

Margaret is then said to have married Ernest Freer in 1898 when she would have been approx 50yrs old

The 1935 death notice refers - see this 1920 US census entry

The Margaret who married Frederick Ernest Freet in 1898 was the daughter of the original Margaret & William.

When they married in 1870 William was aged 37 and Margaret 22 .I thought perhaps he had died and Margaret had remarried a Barnes but I could find nothing on Scotland's People  no death for either or any births for Jack or Albert Barnes
