would like to know what happened to Barbara Ashelford b 1913 st hellier daughter of Francis William Ashelford and Marjorie Searle Silverlock i know she married Cecil Edward James Poree 1936 in st hellier dont know what happened to her after that

According to a tree on Ancestry Cecil died 1966 in Sumatra

Outgoing passenger list 29.5.1936 has Cecil travelling to Belawan Deli - alone.  He had previously returned from Belawan Nov 1935 - occ Planter

Outgoing passenger list 23.10.1936 shows Barbara travelling to Sumatra - alone

Incoming passenger lists only go to 1960

In Sept 1972 she arrived in Australia, intending to stay in Sydney for 3 months.

She shows her marital status as divorced & appears to be living in South Africa but holidaying in Australia
