I had a look at Griffiths Valuation for Tipperary http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php
The Valuation took place in the county 1850-1. There were no Symes there at that time. Could you please
put an approximate date on the birth of your paternal grandmother. Would it have been around 1900?
