James Barlow

A lot of trees on Ancestry have the family of James Barlow of Cherry Hinton.

His parents being William, 1761-1853, and Elizabeth Cole, 1760-1846.

They seem to concentrate on his sister, Sarah, born 1796 in Cherry Hinton, who married William Page in Ely on 3rd July 1824.

William's parents were William, 1725-1783, and Sarah Swann, 1727-1797.

If the right family, Sarah's family goes back to c1515.

Only one tree has James marrying Elizabeth Broughton and another has simply Elizabeth. Others have a different wife, but look less convincing.

The one with Elizabeth Broughton is a descendant of her, and has Broughtons back to c1700.
