Can someone please look up the 1871 Wales census for the following family.
Thomas  and Mary Ann Weir (parents)
Children Catherine and Lillian (Catherine seemingly born in Woolwich) but Lilian born in Swansea.
I believe that Mary Anne could be the second wife as there was mention of a Sarah Weir as wife also.
Hall -Devon,
Atkinson-Gateshead Durham.
Weir - Swansea
Sumner - Warwickshire
Morrall - Warwickshire
Hill -Cornwall, Australia and NZ
Penhallurick - Cornwall and Australia
McNally - Ireland and UK
Tooze - Devon

Hi Telephonist

Do you have this family on other censuses?

If you could post details of their dates of birth and places, plus any other info, that would help with the search

kind regards, Arranroots  ;)

Hello
Catherine and Lilly are  in the UK in 1881
Thomas born Gibraltar
The family are still  at 17 Catherine street,
I suspect that Elizabeth in 71 is Lilly in 81.

Hello again, long break! I'm wondering what has happened to Sarah from the family, I know Mary Jane married Charles Austin Sumner Sept 1879 in Swansea  and came to NZ soon after. And now Iyou have found Catherine married Henry Waldron.
I have always been told Thomas wife was Sarah and Mary Anne second wife???
