I wonder if the link below may answer the question of Edwin's whereabouts, showing his birth in 1845 and death in 1850.

Just to add..if his father was still alive I think he would be mentioned along with mother. Maybe there is something not found yet.

The three girls Louisa, Rachael and Esther were also baptised at St George on the same day as John Charles but recorded on a different page and parents are John and Elizabeth, rather than Eliza, residence is Queen Street, not Kent Road.

I wonder if the Queen Street address is an error, carried on by mistake from the previous baptism of a different surname.

Good Afternoon,

Thank you everyone for your help.......I really am grateful......John Charles LINDSAY lived a reasonably good life in Tasmania after transportation. 8)
