Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Sub-Lieutenant Walter Gair Buchan - Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve  - died 7/5/1946

Sub-Lieutenant (A) Walter Buchan served in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve on board H.M.S. Merganser.

The private memorial marking the grave of Sub Lieutenant Buchan no longer provides adequate commemoration, the commission are in the process of producing a new headstone to mark his grave.
