John and Harriet Corbett

I have the marriage of John Ellis and Harriet Corbett in 1839, but not much info on their 6 children. In particular, Samuel b 1841 (Rock) and Julia b1844 ( Rock) i cant seem to see any marriage or find them in census. Both were still living at home in 1861. Thanks .

I think you mean the family name is ELLIS?

There is a marriage for a Julia ELLIS (33, father - John, coal merchant, dec) to Henry BUCKLEY (32, wid, father- Samuel, labourer) on 2 March 1879 at St Phillip, Salford. One of the witnesses is Martha CORBETT - sounds possible.

I notice in 1871 that John ELLIS (59, coal miner) is now married to Sarah (44) at Rock, Wellington, with his children: Mary Ann, Samuel, John, Thomas, Martha, David

Samuel is easy to find in later Census as maddys52 noted.

Mother Harriet died 1853.

I think you meant Sam. and Julia are at home 1851 Census.

I cant see them in 1861.
