Ha ha ha ha ha!
I want to get it sorted but so things are not awkward for me as I will feel that, well already  do,
.Just as an example who remembers the nasty neighbour who got my son by the throat after he had parked a fraction over the sloping bit of  their lowered kerb? Cane screaming up to me when he saw their CCTV Well, gradually I have brought him round and I get a civil nod and I told about giving him wet wipes to clean his hands after putting their bins back when on their way out ,to save him going in his house again .
I asked re the election when he passed last week, and we had a little chat ,amazing , it did me no harm and there is no awkwardness ,never has been on my part but he is O.K now - mind you a 5’11 son next door might have something to do with it ,not the one half strangled ,he is very gentle, my second son is the one next door .

Imagine  :- he it was who emptied his school bag over the teacher who accused him of having his French book open in his open school bag during a French test.
Told to take his bag to the front for her to see ,he emptied it all over her desk and her!He could not get his knees under the desk so sat sideways  .
“ If you can find my book in there you might accuse me of cheating but it is not there .
I don’t need to cheat ,I have spoken French, Flemish  and English
every day of my life since being five years old, ( he was 17)
I will accept your apology “.
We really told him off when he told us as he had to go to the Principal of course.
He’s a black or white personality like his Dad !
No shades of grey,it is right or wrong!

It will be sorted ,but because I was too polite to  make a list of what was borrowed I will always have a grain of doubt  not all has been returned.
This is getting into quite a saga!
Thanks again .
Viktoria.

I understand totally how difficult this is for you Viktoria.
You have my utmost sympathy.
Might your children be able to recall all the items you had?
I do hope you get your precious items back on Sunday, but  have you an idea about how you may proceed if you don't?
Conroy, Fitzpatrick, Watson, Miller, Davis/Davies, Brown, Senior, Dodds, Grieveson, Gamesby, Simpson, Rose, Gilboy, Malloy, Dalton, Young, Saint, Anderson, Allen, McKetterick, McCabe, Drummond, Parkinson, Armstrong, McCarroll, Innes, Marshall, Atkinson, Glendinning, Fenwick, Bonner

Not really , they are quite trivial items, not like things with a high value, the dearest would be about £20 I imagine but in the 1970’s for students a lot of money. Would  cost more now if available ,many by Chris Makepiece if I remember correctly ,a Manchester man who printed from the very old maps and the newer ones .He had his own printing company .
He must have got permission - the copyright I imagine .They were available to  the  public.

Well another disaster ,I dropped the hot  iron on the the carpet  whilst ironing all the bedding and other washing dried on the line today.
There is now an iron shaped crispy  patch on it.

Not expensive  -contract  stuff put in when the house was gutted and tarted up but still looks perfectly O.K.
Will see how it looks in the morning .
Thanks for the advice and suggestions  , I might need to use them.
Well off to bed ,hope all have a restful night , look after yourselves.
Viktoria.
