Luton library, Bedfordshire
« on: Wednesday 11 August 04 10:17 BST (UK) »
I will be going to Luton next week. Can visit the library should anyone want any lookups. They have the 1851 census index and parish registers -1812 & 1812+. The registers cover mainly south & mid beds.

Criggy,
I found your posting on Beds parish register look-up offer via Google.  I've now registered with Rootschat but cannot find a way to reply to that posting as there is no Reply button- hence trying here.

I'd be delighted if you could look up 2 marriages for me please:
Joseph Alfred Burrows, about Sept 1885 - Jan 1886, probably at Pulloxhill, but possibly Flitton with Silsoe.
Joseph Pedder, 18 Sep 1810 at Flitton with Silsoe.
Full transcript if possible please.  Many thanks.

It would be nice if there were full instructions on how to use this site!
