You are welcome, Mowsehowse.

Well, the way the text was worded it sounded like they had a jab for me and that all that I had to do was book over the 'next seven days'. I think it would have been better if they had said specifically that they had a limited number over a three day period and first come first served.
Incidentally, the last time I had to get a blood test for cholesterol I got a text saying to book an appointment. When I went along to book they said they had no upcoming appointments available. (That felt very Monty Python

). I was told I could go along to local hospital one morning instead. So I did. I found the waiting area full and people spilling out into the corridor. Waited ages then someone came and said apologetically that there would not be enough time to fit everyone in. They said surgeries were now sending their patient to them plus the hospital had a new computer system which was running slow. People were offered complaints forms. A lot just stomped off. I had a good book and had waited some time so decided to stay put. Fortunately, I was one of the fortunate ones who managed to get fitted in before the clinic opening time ran out. I wrote about this experience on here.
The NHS is great (what they are doing for my Grandson with targeted treatment seems nothing short of miraculous, truly

) but the appointment system is not so good or easy as it used to be when I was young. I wonder why in this time of progress it should be this way?
