Good Morning
sorry not to get back to you sooner.
so Mary and William Leonard did have children
William Frederic 14.4.1805 Nash
James 29.6.1806 Nash
Thomas 3.10.108 Monmouth St Mary
George 25.8.1811 Redwick
George 13.1.1813 Magor
William was a farmer and I can see a possible for him on the 1851 census with new wife Ann but I'm not 100 % sure.
John and Sarah Milner are at New House Whitson ,Newport on the 1841 and 1851 censuses .Farmer 200 acres.
John 1786-6.12.1879 from Nash.
Children I can find ,there mat be others as I haven't got all the baptisms
Thomas and Mary 22.2.1807 Nash
Eliza 5.12.1813
Charlotte 1815/6
Maria 29.6.1817
Ann 1820/1
John 22.12.1822
Cecilia 1824/5
William 9.1.1825- 14.6.1858
As you can see some of them are from the censuses.
If we come back to William and Diana and their children just a few details to add
William 1805 is buried at Penhow 1.2.1838 age 32
John was baptised at Littleton on Severn 19.10.1806
Eliza married 22.2.1831 at Nash to William Lewis the labourer/milkman born 1805 died c Mar 1870.
Eliza 1810-Dec 1884 Newport.
Children Elizabeth 25.3.1832,Nash, Thomas 1834,Henry 1836 ,William 30.6.1839 goldcliff ,Dinah 3.10.1841 Goldcliff ,Charles Dec 1846 and Priscilla 30.4.1848 goldcliff
Then there is that Thomas buried 15.1.1826 at Penhow age 13 who is probably their son but I can't see a baptism.
Sarah married at Goldcliff 26.10.1835 John Collins of Christchurch (presumably the one in Monmouthshire) wit William and Charlotte Taylor.
She was buried at Penhow age 21 21.1.1836 of Goldcliff.
I'm guessing it may have been in childbirth but I can't see a child.
I agree with you on the Hancock /Treyhern stuff.
Well done ,good find!
