1841 Pickering - Sarah DUNNING
« on: Tuesday 13 September 05 02:21 BST (UK) »
Looking for Sarah Dunning on the 1841 census.  She is not at home in Pickering with her husband and children.  I think she may be somewhere 'recuperating' as there is a 6 month old baby in the house.

I am pretty sure I have her death reference in the 2nd qtr of 1841, so I think she may have still been alive for the census.

Unfortunately I have no further information on this woman, only know her name because I have the birth certificate for the 6 month old.

Any help would be appreciated.

Margaret

Hi Margaret

Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.  I am doing a bit of housekeeping work on this board and wondered if you have made any progress, or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Many apologies Ticker.  This query is now cleared.

I have since ordered the death certificate for Sarah.  Turns out that the census was late that year and although she died April 25th in the second quarter, it was still before the census.

Margaret
