William Conners, 67, death Q1 1885 Barrow-in-Furness

I cannot see any newspaper reports about an accident.

Would there be an inquest?

If so how do I find the details?

Best wishes

I think the death certificate might show if there was an inquest.

Looks like he was hit by a train at the works whilst crossing the line to fetch a bucket of water.
