I hope someone might be able to point me in the right direction.

In 1917 David Chalmers was killed in a cycling accident. In the newspaper article written about it, it stated that two of his sons were on active duty and that a third soldier son was home recovering from wounds received in action.

My question is there a general list of recruits for Dunfermline. The names I am looking for are :-

Robert Chalmers born 1892 Bathgate
William Campbell Chalmers born 1893 Bathgate
David Chalmers born 1895 Bathgate

The family moved to Dunfermline between the years 1895 and 1898.

I have checked the  War Graves records and none of them died in action.

I would be grateful for any help or advice in tracking down which unit the brothers served in.
