1841 and 1851 Census
« on: Tuesday 13 September 05 17:19 BST (UK) »
Looking for George Ozwell (Oswell) (Osswell)
born 1819 Charlbury Oxfordshire.

Father is William and mother is Mary.

I have found him on the 1861 and 1871 with his
wife Susannah and family.

Many thanks
GillianR

Hi Debbie

Many thanks for the 1851 info you have sent to me, it does look hopeful, but can I presume that you had no luck with the 1841?:(

Many thanks
GillianR

PS. I don't know if you can get this transferred to the appropriate page, but I have sent an e.mail to P.M. Tony Blair about the release of the 1911 census, as I too, have found my own marriage details on the Internet, (and I am still alive :) so I feel that we should have the 1911 released as most of the people on it would have passed on by now :) I should think.

Hi Gillian

Sorry I don't have the 1841 - for this area, perhaps someone will come along who has - failing that we will have to wait until the Soc of Gen gets it onto their British Origins site - they are working their way through the 1841 counties slowly - but they havn't got to Oxfordshire yet

 :(
