Finding a birth certificate for Francis John Brady

Ellen Green born  Great Harwood with her parents William Thomas Green & Margaret plus siblings in 1911 she is single so probably not connected to the person you are looking for

The following information is on the 1911 census but I cannot locate the birth certificate.

OP - You haven't answered my question as to what evidence there is that YOUR Francis Brady was born Co. Mayo?

As far as I can tell, the answer is that there isn't any. Instead there was a misidentification of the boy in Co. Mayo in 1911 as your fellow.

I should add that it is possible, probable even, that the John part of Francis John is a confirmation name. In which case it won't appear on a birth or baptismal record.

As well as the details on his marriage certificate, are you able to provide names for any siblings?  Ie, did your mother have any paternal uncles & aunts?

In 1911 there are 3 Brady boys born St Helen’s in the Fulwood workhouse at Preston
Charles age 8, Francis age 6, (bit young?)  John age 13

Which I think could fit with this 1901 family in St Helen’s

Kate 18 born St Helen’s as are all the following
William 16
Hugh 14
Ellen 10
Thomas 7
John 4
Charles 5/12

In 1911 is a couple

William 47 b county Sligo
Ellen 46 born county Sligo  .  Married 20 yrs 3 live births, 2 deaths.
Thomas 17 born St Helen’s

On the face of it they would make a neat match, but if there are 3 sons at Fulwood, then the children answers make no sense.

That Thomas I believe has a MMN MULLIGAN  and there is a Charles reg March Qtr 1901 also MMN MULLIGAN but I am promising NOTHING!

Especially since i cannot see a Francis birth with MMN Mulligan

That Charles & Francis both appear on the National Schools admission register. At St Vincent’s, Preston Both leaving 17 June 1911. I think John leaves the previous month.
No parents/guardians, no notes in the withdrawal column. (Others say things like to employment, change of residence, or dead)

Other entries have exact dates of birth, but not theirs. Charles has 1902, Francis 1904, John 1899.

I am inclining to the opinion that William Byers and William Brady are the same man.
(And if so, that Francis Byers is Francis Brady)

Can anyone see either William in the 1891 census?
