Alexander is their son in law, not son - married to Thomas and Elizabeth's daughter Ann.

yes sorry about that a Freudian slip, going to dig through my St Asaph records today to see if I can find and further information, Alexander and Ann seem to have been married in Dec 1848 registered in W'ton but possibly at St Leonards in Bilston, I have them in Penegoes in 1871 thanks for your help will keep digging..

That ticks all the boxes, thank you, will go back into the Alberbury records to see if I can find a conclusion to the parents of Thomas Jones in 1799 and if he did indeed marry a Elizabeth Roberts ?

You previously mentioned that I had the wrong Jones family in 1841.  Could you please post details of the correct one

Sorry, I hope that I was not implying that I am correct but you said it was the wrong 1841 entry so I was just after the correct one so that I can keep looking for you.  :).   I certainly don't want an apology, I am just trying to help  ;D
