Can anyone please look up my Dad in the 1921 census.
He was Amos Lawton living in Fence Houses/Houghton le spring
His DOB was 28/12/1911

Father working as a coal miner (hewer).

We are not allowed to post full info from the 1921 census as it is only available by subscription on Ancestry & FindMyPast.  Ancestry access is free at most local libraries so check if yours is one of them

My local library doesn't hold this info. I'd have to go into Durham.

I think that if you register with FindMyPast you can search the site and then purchase copies by micropayment.  You don’t need a paying subscription
