Sorry Jan!

My only qualm with him is that he is apparently 11 months old - slightly too old ( unless uncle said "Oh it must be nearly a year now") !!  ;D

There is a little Henry living with Joseph FREEMAN & family in Brixton, relationship to him not stated.  Henry's place of birth is Brixton though, which is not a good match for the registration district.

Ref  RG11/0617   90   50  if you want to have a look.

LOL Jo!  I'm sure he/ she is worth it!  ;D

What do we know about Susan?  What age on her death cert?  And do you have the marriage cert to give her father's name?  Are we certain she was born St Pancras?

Having a look for you....

There is quite a shortage isn't there?

Are we sure that Susan was unmarried before marrying Henry?  There is a married Susan KIRK with husband Rubin and daughter Susan, living in St Andrew Holborn??

Just a thought.

Hi Arranroots
there is a shortage, i have found that one married to Rubin and think Henry could be hubby number two

i have no idea when SUSAN was born but she died in 1880 aged 28, so birth about 1852, and she missed the census in 1881 to give me her marriage and place of birth info
did find an EMMA kirk Marriage in pancras , but no william smith listed as yet,

not to worry
my friend will have to save her pennies up for a marriage cert

spk to u soon and thanks joanne
