I have the Lancashire 1851 census on disc purchased from S&N, Part of the census covers my home town of Warrington Lancashire (now Cheshire) I have searched through and there appears to be a section on the old market place and the old Golden square missing is this normal to have an incomplete area of a town census.

I have looked at the known missing or damaged parts of the 1851 census - but Warrington isn't listed as having any parts missing.

Did the areas you mention have residential properties?

Looking at Golden Square it is mixed in with Cheapside and Foundry Street.  Market Place follows on from it.
