I have got confirmation! In the 1871 census, the bride is living as servant at Carseminnoch, and her parents in one of the Carseminnoch Cottages.

However, if the quality of the ink is so poor, I doubt there is much they can do to produce a more legible image.

Go on, do it. There's no charge. You may be agreeably surprised what they can do, and it will also mean that someone else may in future be able to read that or the other certificate on the same page.
