Does anyone know how to access inquest records?

I have a relative who died in December 1947 in Tooting Bec Hospital. According to the death certificate there was an inquest held by the Coroner for London on 01 Jan 1948.

It would be great to be able to access this record, either the official court hearing or a newspaper report.

Records of Tooting Bec Hospital at the London Archives
Including registers of admissions, deaths, post mortems, etc.
Most of these are not going to be available though

I don't think so, it was held on 01 Jan 1948 by the Coroner for the County of London.

In the Link provided by jonwarm there are a number of documents for Jan 1948.
It is a 211 page report!
Perhaps do a search for the name within the report or provide the name so somebody else can.
I realise an Inquest can be a sensitive topic.

I performed a name search and got no hits.

I am not sure that this document covers the correct jurisdiction.

I have also name checked newspapers on both Ancestry and FindMyPast.
