MARGARET YOUNG (ASSISTED IMMIGRANT)
« on: Monday 21 April 25 19:45 BST (UK) »
Good Morning All

I hope there may be some way to find out more on this MARGARET YOUNG who was living in South Sydney in 1859/1860.

I'm not sure if she was an assisted immigrant, bounty or other!!  Would there be any details of who she was assigned to OR if she had relatives in Sydney.

No marriage found so far and no death after 1860 that I could find.  Any help very much appreciated.  Kind regards Dianna

Hi Neale
Do you think this means that Margarets sister was already here and living in Clarence St Sydney.

As there is a Mrs Brown as witness to the birth of Margarets son Alexander YOUNG later known as BROWN. Very interesting.  Regards Dianna
