Maybe his aunt Violet Louise and uncle Hugh Oswald had a plot somewhere?

Yes the couple do, an early check out. Not there!  Francis did help Oswald Short a great deal when battling the British government.  I guess I may have to give up on my search. Shame!

It looks like they moved around 1957, but maybe they had another house in West Sussex and the plot in the cemetery? Long shot...
