The only Edward Hand i could find on the 1861 census was the 1 detailed above somewhere, he's a Servant with Joseph Hand.

There's no Edward Hand showing for the 1871 census.

1861  Muston, Leicesteshire, farm House

James Hand   1843   Servant   Barkston   Ploughman.

He's living with William & Mary Hoyle & Family + other Servants.

I am the great grand-daughter of Lucy HAND, born December 1868 at Barkestone.  She was the daughter of Thomas and Eliza Hand (nee Turner).  Lucy had a child before marriage - Maud, my grandmother.  Lucy later married James WORTHINGTON of Plungar to whom she had several children.

I have been researching my Hand family for a number of years and have quite a lot of information.
