John Cheshire Chorley

Hello,

I am looking for help on my gg grandfather John Cheshire from Chorley Wilmslow. He was born in 1826 and married a lady called Ellen Cheshire. I have no details of baptism or his parentage and have hit a brick wall. Any help much appreciated.

Hi Karen

           I do not have access to birth records for the Parish (Prestbury) for the years involved, sorry, but I did a search of the 1851 census and found that there was only one family of Cheshire's in the area, I believe that because of the naming patterns shown in future generations that they are your John Cheshires family.
