Marriage Look up at Bampton

I have Edward Pettifer married to Elizabeth ? pre 1780. Bampton

Could someone find their marriage and Elizabeth's maiden name?

Hi,

There are no Edward Pettifer's marrying an Elizabeth in Bampton at all. Only two Edward both marry Sarah's and both in Bampton.

Thanks for looking.  Edward and Elizabeth have a daughter Elizabeth baptized 21/12/1780 in Bampton, so I hoped that they had been married there.  They must have come from somewhere else.

Do you have access to baptism records? if so, would you see if there were any more children to Edward and Elizabeth.

I think a sojourner is someone who is staying in the town - but didn't origanally come from there.
