Narberth- Welcome to Town

David Gibby is listed as a publican (licensed victualler) in  the census from1841 to 1871 in High street and the Bridge in Narberth. Can anyone help me with the name of his premises?
   I have the discs for the 1841 and 1861 census. Cananyone tell  me if there is any index for them?
I have now found the name of the tavern in 1844 Pigot Directory- The Welcome to Town. I would appreciate any information on this establishment.

Hi Researcher,

David Gibby was a horse-breaker as well as a publican.

His pub was the 'Welcome to Town' in Narberth from 1840-1860.

David then moved on to the 'Cresselly Arms' down at the southern edge of the town.

The Bridge Inn in Narberth still exists - may be able to photograph it if you want

Hi Researcher,

The Census refers to 'Narberth Bridge' and not the Bridge Inn.  The public house at Narberth Bridge was the Cresselly Arms.  This was possibly the house that is now No.3 Bridge Hill, Narberth.
