1891 Look-Up Request for John W. Morris - ERY
« on: Friday 13 August 04 11:38 BST (UK) »
Hi,

On the 1881 I have JOHN W. MORRIS, aged 2 years and born in Hull, living in the household of his Grandfather John Swinbank Underwood.

I'm hoping he will appear on the 1891 with his birth mother so I can place which of John Swinbank Underwood's daughters she is.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sasha.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the info - not found John Morris' mother, but I didn't have the 1891 info for his uncle George Underwood so it's still good news.

If it's possible could you let me know what George Underwood's occupation was so I can add the information to my notes, and also his wife's birthplace please?  I'm guessing that George is possibly working in a brickyard as other members of this family have moved to Ferriby from East Yorkshire for this reason.

No rush - it would just be nice to know.

Thank you,
Sasha.  :)

Hi Peter,

Thanks for that - George is on the 1881 as George W. Underwood, and looking at the entry again it would appear that he is George Westerdale Underwood, so perhaps I have a clue as to his mothers maiden name now.

Thanks, it's much appreciated.

Sasha.
