Hello

I am descended from George and Esther Stubbs who moved from Arkengarthdale Yorks to Shildon with sons Barningham, Ralph, Adam ,James ,William prior to 1834.
Also had daughter Margaret (maried James Bell) Martha (married Joseph Dolphin) and Mary born Shildon 1834

Anyone with any connections would be pleased to hear from you

Have you joined the dalesfh ?  We have a local fam history group which covers the Arkengarthdale/Swaledale/Wensleydale area and it has a most helpful membership.
