Hi All,

I too am researching Ladds of Kent. I believe that I am descended from John Ladd of Elham d1476 and Cecilia, his son John Ladd of Elham and wife Alice and his son Stephen d1549 of Lyminge and his wife Alice.

To me there seems to be rather a large gap between John d1476 and his son John d1528.

There is another John of Elham d1489 wife Selestra. Does anyone know where this John fits in? In his will he does not appear to have children.

Hello everyone,
I am from New zealand, trying to research my family history more.
I also descend from the Thomas Lade line.. the last in line I can find is the one at 1400 who I believe is a John lade..
hoping to get more information if possible
