My name is Gary Allison from Australia & I am trying to find details of my G/G/G grandfather James Jordan k/a Gordon Sheridan. He was born in Cork circa 1765/6 & tried in Dublin in 1789 & sentenced to 7 years for being an Irish rebel. I am trying to find any info re his life in Ireland & any forebears or living relatives. It is possible that one of the papers at the time reported the trial & that this is still held by one of the current newspapers. Would love any info or help.
