Hi,

Wonder if someone could help me.  In Outlook Ex. there was a message from rootschat saying  "A reply has been posted to a topic you are watching by dusty".   I looked for this reply but couldn't find Dusty anywhere.  Where am I going wrong please?

Once you opened your e-mail message, below where it said who it was from (as you quoted above) there should have been a link - usually in blue - which, if you click on it should take you to the post.

It is like a short-cut to the reply that has been posted.

Sorry about late reply, had to be away from my comp until now.

Yes there was a hyperlink which took me to Cheshire Surnames on a post from yesterday by jan44. Odd really isn't it.  Do you think it was just an error?

I think it is possible t have more than one identity on Rootschat - maybe Jan44 registered as Dusty, then changed his/ her mind??

Trystan would be able to tell you, but as long as you got the message!

JUst wanted to say this happened to me the other day. Somebody was supposed to have replied to a post I was watching, I followed the link and there wasn't any new post by this person.

Guess errors just occur
