Richard Jackson Registrar, Bridlington.
« on: Tuesday 27 September 05 07:15 BST (UK) »
In 1901 Census, Richard Jackson (44) is Registrar at Bridlington, he and his wife Frances live at 10 Brighton Crescent. Did they remain in Bridlington and die there.  Any burials for Bridlington.? Is there any way of tracing Registrars?  Would love more information on our mysterious Richard.

Hi Kress

Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.

Have you made any progress,  or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Thank you for your enquiry, but no I do not have any more information on this couple. They seem to have vanished.regards  Kress

Not heard of a Brighton Crescent in Brid - it should probably be Bright Crescent which is near the seafront off Promenade.

Thanks for the information on the address, will recheck the census.
Richard Jackson was born 1856 in Earby, his mother died soon after he was born and his Grandparents reared him. On the census it stated he had crippled legs but do not know when this happened or how bad. I have not been able to find a death for either Richard or his wife Frances.  Any help is always appreciated.
