I am desperately trying to find the father of John Woolloff (or Wolloff) born 1819 to Mary Woolloff, father unknown.

Can anybody help

I'm guessing that you may already have the following marriage:

18 APR 1822 - William HAZELWOOD (Cropredy) to Mary WOOLLOFF at Bicester

If John's father was not named on the baptism record, then you may have to try bastardy orders to find out who he was!

Thanks Penny, yes I do know his mum married a William Hazlewood, maybe he is the father.  I will try the other avenue you suggested.
