1841 Census lookup - Hoyle Slaithwaite
« on: Thursday 29 September 05 12:14 BST (UK) »
Please can I have a lookup for James and Mary Hoyle in the 1841 census.
They would have been 40/45yrs old and living at Moorside/Castle in Slaithwaite.

Would it also be possible to check if there was an Amos Hoyle aged 70ish living at Moorside/Castle in Slaithwaite.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Nige.  :)

Slaithwaite comes under the huddersfield society.

Maybe, but you could make their like a lot easier if you could provide the references for the sake of a  few pence. Searching unindexed census(es) is not something to be recommended.

Pauline,

When looking through the lookup offers, I came upon the following:

« on: Sunday 12 December 04 03:23 GMT (UK) »

~~~~~~~~
I have the census  discs 1841 - 1901 for the yorkshire district. If you need a look up post as much info as possible and I will look for them, please be patient I have no indexes other than  LDS 1881. I also have 1871,81 & 91 for Lancashire.
Gail
The kind person who put this offer on the site asks only for as much info as possible and to be patient.
I have given both to the best of my knowledge when requesting help.
I am in no rush to find out, I will be pleased for any help when or if it comes.
I am sorry if you feel upset about the way I am undertaking my researches.
At no time am I wishing to be awkward.
Happy hunting,
Nige :)
