Hello,
Can anyone help me find:
Aaron Evans, born 1844 and brother
Moses Evans born 1847 (my G-G-G/father)

Moses in 1861 census says he was born at Stapleton, whereas other census data says Presteigne.  I presume Aaron was born in the same area.
1851 census in Wales doesn't record them so they could have crossed the border (?) They would have been 6 and 4 approx

I have tried Radnor data with no luck, so now am trying Herefordshire.

Any info on their parents would be wonderful too.  I haven't got much birth detail except the year.

In 1861 there is an Aaron Evans living with the Davis family in Coombe Herefordshire. He is 16 years old and an ag lab born Radnorshire Wales could this be your Aaron?

Yes, I think it may be him.  I had found that link but now am looking at 1851 and before.

My current strategy/interest is to go back as far as I can in the male line and later seek out marriage data and the female lines.

Any tips on how best to obtain birth dates and other info for these two blokes?

Try the Register Offices in Kington - Old Court House Market Hall St HR3 5DpP or at Offa's Dyke Centre, Knighton  for Presteigne birth certificates.

Hereford Family History Society haold excellent records of this area.
