Margaret GILLESPIE (m.s. CAMPBELL) - death 1855

I am researching Margaret CAMPBELL (born abt. 1790 in Larbert, Stirlingshire). 

Margaret married James GILLESPIE (born abt. 1786 in Larbert, Stirlingshire).  They were married on 18 August 1811 in Larbert, Stirlingshire.

I have been given a piece of information from a fellow researcher, which states that Margaret died on 25 May 1855 in Damside.  Is this the Damside in Auchterarder, Perthshire?

Can anyone look up to see if my Margaret GILLESPIE (m.s. CAMPBELL) did indeed die on this date in Perthshire?

Hi!

I have looked this up for you and it is partly correct.  Margaret Campbell or Gillespie died at Damside, Cambusnethen on the 25th May, 1855.  She died of dropsy, 3 months.  The death certificate is actually very interesting, giving details of all her children, her parents and husband - in fact, I've never seen one quite like it!!
