Looking for the LOWER family in Sussex.
« on: Monday 16 August 04 15:32 BST (UK) »
Hi,  I'm looking for information on my gggrandfather James LOWER and his wife Sarah. James was born at Hamsey around 1810 and Sarah was born about 1806. Some of there childrens names where Samuel, Edmund, Cornelius who was my ggrandfather, Jemima, John and Levi. If someone could look them up on the 1851 Lewes census for me please it would be a great help.
From Christine. :)

Dear Frances,
Thankyou for all that information, you have broken down a big brick wall for me with the info on James Lower and his children. If you could get me the full entries on James christening it would be great. I think you may be right thinking that there is more than one family. James's wife Sarah would have been to old to have the last 4 children. Thankyou again   From Christine. ;D

Dear Chris,  Thankyou for this information. ;D   In the letter I received from Frances it said that there where some children born in the 1860s that might be James and Sarah's, but I think Sarah was to old to have them. If you have access to the 1861 census could you please have a look and see if Lucy Ann, William, Louisa and Minnie are in James and Sarah's family.       From Christine. :)

Hi Christine

Unfortunately, at the moment, I do not have access to the 1861 census for Sussex.

Sorry
