James Fraser

Please can anyone do a lookup for my greatgreatgrandfather, James Fraser, who was at Burnside, Dun, in 1841 aged 4.

The only other info I have on him is on the birth record of my illegitimate greatgrandmother, Annie Fraser, in 1862 at Cottar House, Tayack, Dun where James Fraser is named as the father, the mother being Christina Kinnear.

Thanks a million!

Thanks for trying, Anne.

I'm not sure what the British Vital Records are but they don't seem very comprehensive - there were many James Frasers around!

Jim

Hi Dorothy,

Yes, thank you:  I think that is probably the man.

But I must have been tired when I posted my request as I thought I had asked if anyone could look him up on the 1851 or 1861 census for Dun or Angus!

Yours
Jim
