Hi Frances,

I've looked on the Cambs FHS and the IGI and I can find a total of 6 siblings for Lydia, children of John and Amy King.  Is that what you have?

My biggest mystery now is what happened to Lydia.  I can't find a death, a marriage, or a presence on the 1861 (1837-website).  She is young enough to have remarried, but nothing is showing on either the BMD site or the Cambs Indexing Project.

Looks as if the aliens abducted her.

Regards

KA

Hi I'm looking for information on CHARLES STAR/R from the 1851 Census:-

In 1851 Charles Star was aged 16 - born Foxton - a pauper in the Workhouse in Bassingbourn, Cambridgeshire H0107/1708 f286 p5.  How can I find documents on him please.  Trying to work out how/why he was a Pauper when the rest of his family are in FOXTON in the other census's.

I'd like to know the details of his stay in the poor house and when he left, how long he was there etc as he emigrated to Australia in 1857.  Was he in the poorhouse all that time??  Any help very much appreciated.  Regards Dianna from Australia
