1901 Census For Kent

I have heard part of the Kent census for 1901 is missing.

Is this true

I posted on this site previously that I had noticed that Deal was missing from Ancestry's online version of the 1901 census. Another user then posted that this was not a mistake by Ancestry but that Deal census had actually been lost at some time in the past and that TNA has not got a copy either.

I'm not aware of any other parts of Kent being missing from the 1901.

Yes that is correct part of the Deal 1901 Census was lost when they moved buildings.

The next Census after 1901 will be 1911, but this will not be released to public record untill 2011. Until then its Parish records mainly.

Hi Adrian.
Thank you for your email regarding censors for 1907
The person I am trying to search is  either cecil or cyril george richard back not sure on first name but definatly either cecil or cyril  we think he was  born in ramsgate on the 12th febuary 1907  he had four brothers and one sister called patrica  he was in the royal artillery  till about 1930 he then went to india  were he was in the indian police  he then married a renee nellie back  and went on to have a son called michael and a daughter called joy
they came back to england in 191949 and lived at st peters road broadstairs then moved to  norman road ramsgate he then died in sea bathing hospital in margate  in or around 1969.
any help would be good as we are trying to find out as much as possible
