I am looking for information on Mary Spurrell. She married John George and spent her married life in Bath. She always gave her place of birth as Trowbridge, her year of birth is approx 1829. Any information about her parents and any siblings would be much appreciated.

Mary Sperell: age 40.
George Sperell: age 15.
Joseph Sperell: age 10.
Mary Sperell: age 10.

Address:
Avon St., Walcot, Bath.

All born in County.

Thank you for the information, that could very likely be the Mary I am looking for.

I have found another Spurrell from Trowbridge in the 1861 Census, his name was James aged 39 and he and his family were living in Avon Street, Walcot. I guess at the time of the 1841 Census he was living elsewhere but may still be conn3ected with Mary.

I have also found a possible marriage for a Mary in 1849 so I have taken a chance and sent for it.

I couldn't find any Spurrell's, or varients in Wiltshire in 1841.

Address:
COTTAGE BEHIND AVON STREET: BATH WALCOT: SOMERSET.

Born IN County.

He was living with another family.

Thank you for finding Jas Spirell. I think they must all be one family. I know I found a Mary Spurrell in a later census with a birthplace as Trowbridge, but cannot find it now. I think when Ancestry release the 1851 census I may well subscribe.
