Vault, Dundee

Trying to read a birth cert., I have what looks like the address of 9, Vault, Dundee. Does this exist or do I need a more powerful magnifying glass?
It may be an Insurance company (in 1860).

I guess my g.g.grandfather lived there, rather than its being his place of employment. That would have been in 1860- any trade directories around for that period?
