1851 Ware - WARREN

I have just transcribed the will of a relative, Elizabeth Page, widow of Ware.
The will is dated 1849 and in it she names her 2 sons in law as Executors. I know that one of them is in London but wondered if anyone can find the other in Ware in 1851.

His name is William Warren and he is a maltster. I would imagine him to be about  35 to 40 years old?

Elizabeth does not mention which of her daughters is married to William so would love to find him with his wife and any little Warrenlets!

I will have another look through my records - but I do know that the "Warrens" definitely lived up to their namesakes in the natural world - ie they breed like rabbits!!

Thanks for the reply. I looked at your page and I see what you mean about those Warrens!. Yikes!.

It is interesting that  this William Warren isn't the first Warren to show up in the Page family tree in Ware. My 5xgreat grandpa, Henry Page, married Elizabeth Warren in Ware in 1754. They only had six children that I know of so she was bucking the trend!

Well, I expect if we dig around for long enough, we will link our Warrens together.....which will make for some massive trees!

Well, I got to looking at this will again and I now realize that his name is William Warren Hale. I found a marriage for him on IGI and he should be in Ware in 1841 and maybe 1851 married to Eliza.
In the will, William is named as an Executor and it looks as though his occupation is a Fellmonger.

All born in county.

I also found Edward Hale (60) Fellmonger Maria (55) son Thomas 20 Fellmonger daughters Elizabeth 20, Eliza 20 and Sarah 15, living in Upper Land Road, Ware.   Could be Williams family.
